Renewal Chapel Ministries International started In early 1994, as the woman of God answered to the call of God to pioneer Renewal Chapel Ministries through the help of the holy ghost and released auction of the former general overseer
She started the house fellowship of blessed Christian at No 1 Adeogun street Ijaye Ojokoro Lagos. In a rented apartment.
The fellowship started with the following people

- Apostle Babalolo Tony (Daddy G. O)
- Pastor Adekunle Olofin. now the pastor in charge of Abule-Egba
- Pastor Mrs. Olofin (Ass. Pastor Abule-Egba branch)

- Bro. Babalola Junwolo (Pastor USA)
- Prophetess Adebowale Lanre (Pastor in charge of Ibadan branch)
- Priest Daniel
- Prophet Victor Owolabi. (Headquarters Assembly Pastor)
The house fellowship grew by size and later transformed into a regular service.
Blessed christian fellowship which later became renewal chapel ministry, is not a setup of a man but called up by God with the mandate to preach the gospel for the enlargement of the Kingdom of God, for the restoration and guardian of the lost soul and the saints, and to deliver the people from oppressors, power of sin, fear, sorrow and death, to prepare the believer for the second coming of Christ and the blessed Christians grew to a church.
On the 5th of may 1994 inaugural service was held at Ijako Ota along Abeokuta road, shortly after inauguration, revival of fire and expansion began to spread; testimonies upon testimonies. On the 3rd day of the 7 days revival, a boy in the compound of baale who was lame. During the revival the power of God touched during the ministration of the word and his leg was restored. This little boy was from the family of the baale of Ijako. This drew the attention of many people to the church through the revival.
Evangelism continued in 2009, God blessed the church with an acre of land at Atan, Olokopupo. Through Alhaji Owoeye, who received healing from the Lord. The Acre of land today seats the headquarters at No 1 Babalola street Ijako; and our branches all over. To God be the glory.
To the glory of God renewal chapel is blessed with many branches across the world: Nigeria, UK, USA.

To liberate the sinner through the word of God, to acknowledge God by proclaiming his word through evangelism, until sinners a saved by his grace. Eph. 2:4-8

Strengthen the believer and prepare them for the second coming of Jesus Christ while living on earth as ambassadors

Founder:
Our lordship bishop Dr babalola Zerimah, is the president, presiding bishop and founding prophetess of RENEWAL CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES.She is a woman called by God and highly anointed with integrity, humility and a Kingdom lover; who God have used mightily for the work of deliverance with profitable and unending testimonies through the power of God in her ministry. She was born into a Muslim family to Alhaji and Mrs Owolabi Faturoti five decades ago. Dr Zerimah encountered the Lord on the 1st of August 1980, during evangelism, and revival of an ancient church in Ado Ekiti. She have served in various groups in the church, she became the assembly pastor in 1989 at Foundation of Truth Church Ojota.

Dr Zerimah Babalola holds a B.Ed. in Guidance and counseling at Lagos state university. She holds a Master’s degree in psychology; PhD in theology at Faith bible college Ota.
She was a teacher before she resigned to join the chariot of Christ for soul winning and to propagate the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Dr Zerimah is happily married to Apostle Anthony a man of honor and dignity. They are blessed with three sons and a daughter;
